Audrie Ann Perina, age 75, of Crookston, MN, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Villa St. Vincent in Crookston, MN.
Audrie was born on November 29, 1941 in New York City, NY to Alfred and Madeline (Goodwin) Jagusch. She grew up and attended grade school in New York City, and at age 16, she moved to New Rochelle, NY and attended Mable Dean Vocational High School. She was also a nanny during her time there. She then moved back to New York City when she was 18.
On November 30, 1963 Audrie married Robert Perina and they had two children, Edith and Robert Jr. Audrie and the children later moved to Minnesota. They lived in Underwood and the Fergus Falls area before coming to Crookston, MN.
Audrie was a member of the Church of Christ in Crookston, MN.
She loved her cat, Patches, and also enjoyed watching television.
Audrie volunteered at the Crookston DAC for several years, working with clients and staff who became dear friends. She also worked for a short time at Happy Joe’s clearing tables.
Audrie became a resident at the Villa St. Vincent in 2010.
Audrie also had many great friends where she lived at Oak Court and at the Villa. She was well known for her extreme generosity.
She will be missed at the Villa and especially by Deanna Patenaude who was her friend and mentor for many years.
Audrie is survived by her children, Edith Mae Perina and Robert Charles Perina, Jr.; one granddaughter and two grandsons; and sister, Alberta Jagusch of Florida.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Madeline; sisters, Betty Smith and Madeline Jagusch; and brother, Alfred (Denise) Jagusch, Jr. May God bless Audrie’s memory.
A memorial service for Audrie will be held at 1:30 pm at the Church of Christ, 321 5th Ave So., Crookston on Wednesday, September 27th, with visitation 1 hour prior.
