Branwen Ulfin Rhain, 61, of Crookston, MN, died unexpectedly in her apartment of natural causes on Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Branwen was born in Naperville, IL on April 19, 1951, the daughter of Edward and Rose (Kaelz) Keasler. After graduating from Naperville High School Branwen went on to attend Columbia College in Chicago, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1976. She then set out to see the world. Branwen traveled extensively throughout Europe and was employed in various cities she visited. In 2003, after the death of her parents, Branwen moved to Crookston to be closer to her only sibling, her brother, Gene Keasler. Branwen enjoyed corresponding with family members and was a great "pen pal" to lifelong friends she made during her travels. She will be very lovingly remembered by all who shared in her life. Loving family members include a niece and 2 nephews: Kelly (Marion) Henry of Crookston, MN, Jason (Vicki) Keasler of Audubon, MN, and Lyon Keasler, attending Art Institute International in Minneapolis; 2 great-nieces, Naomi Henry of Crookston and April Olson (Cesar Mata) of Fargo, ND; her sister-in-law, Judy Keasler of Crookston; and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Rose Keasler; brother, Gene Keasler, who passed away on December 27, 2010, and sister-in-law, Naomi (Senske) Keasler, who passed away on February 5, 1997. May God bless Branwen's memory. A private family service will be held.
