Kari Lea Olson, age 55, of Crookston, MN, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020, at her home.
Kari Lea Jablinske was born on November 11, 1964, in Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of the late Roy and Sharon (Lull) Jablinske. She was raised in Thief River Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1984. After high school she moved to Grand Forks and then settled in Crookston. She worked as a cook for many restaurants in the area including, Carol’s Café and Jeannie’s Restaurant. In her free time she enjoyed watching TV and most of all spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her dog Trouble. She was a great mother and grandmother to her family and anyone and everyone. All were always welcome at her home.
Kari is survived by her children, Josh Jablinske (Brittany Rasmussen), Casey Olson (Stacy Carrier), and Mickaila Finch (Tory), all of Crookston, MN; grandchildren, Riley, Maddison, Chance, Caseyn, Alex, Amelia, Emma, Bella, Myrialla, Lucious, Loki, Baylee, Sasha, Anabel, Laura, and Kayla; brother, Kurt Jablinske of Thief River Falls, MN; sister, Kim Wibbels of Moorhead, MN; and longtime partner, Jim Emerson; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kordel; grandson, Austyn; great-niece, Kailee Jade Storbakken; and aunt and uncle Gale and Dick Langevin.
