Kathleen (Quigley) Keislar, 94, of Minneapolis, MN, and formerly of Crookston, MN, died May 31, 2016. Kathleen was born on November 18, 1921, the daughter of Frank and Dolly Quigley. She was raised on her family's farm near Fisher, MN, and graduated from Mount St. Benedict High School in Crookston. Kathleen went on to earn her Register Nurse degree from St. Michael's School of Nursing in Grand Forks, ND in 1942. After working at Miller Hospital in St. Paul, Kathleen moved to Los Angeles, CA due to a shortage of nurses during WWII. She was employed as a surgical nurse at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital and returned to Crookston in 1979. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Henry Keislar; sisters, Jeanne Hollands and Betty Ludescher; and brothers, Virgil and Patrick Quigley. She is survived by a sister, Eleanor Gregory; step-daughter, Gretchen (Jim) Greene; step-grandsons, Jonathon and Ryan; and many adoring nieces and nephews. A family service and burial will be held at a later date at the Greenwood Cemetery, Fisher, MN.
