Lonnie Ray Kleven

Lonnie Ray Kleven passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, at the age of the 49 in Crookston, MN.  Lonnie was born on May 22, 1974, to the late Marvin and Julia (Lindstrom) Kleven.  

He was baptized on June 29, 1975, into the Lutheran faith at Bethel Lutheran Church in Karlstad, MN.  Lonnie grew up in the Karlstad area on a farm and attended the Karlstad Gospel Tabernacle Church.  He attended Tri-County School, in Karlstad, and the AVTI in Thief River Falls, MN.  Lonnie enjoyed fishing, hunting, and doing carpentry work.  
Lonnie is survived by his son, Anthany Kleven; Brothers:  Lee Kleven of Hibbing, MN, and Billy Kleven of Karlstad; Sisters:  Rosetta (Bruce) Loerzel of Danbury, WI, and Melody Anderson of Stephen, MN; and many nieces, nephews, and many cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Julia Kleven; Grandparents, George and Ada Lindstrom, and Carl and Helga Kleven; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.  

The memorial service celebrating Lonnie's life will be held at Karlstad Gospel Tabernacle Church in Karlstad, at 11:00 AM, on Friday, March 22, 2024. Visitation with the family will be for one-hour prior to the service. Pastor Mark Hanson will be officiating.
