Loretta Kaye Ross, 70, of Fisher, MN, passed away December 7, 2016. Loretta was born on October 1, 1946, to Truman and Neva (Davis) Wermager in Crookston, MN. She attended Crookston Public School. Loretta was united in marriage to Robert Harold Ross on July 5, 1963. Through the years, they lived in Fisher, MN and Crookston, MN. Loretta found much joy in being a stay at home mom and wife. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Crookston, MN.
Loretta will always be remembered as being a giver, being self-less, and always wanting to make others happy. She dedicated her life to her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren called her Grandma Retta and she loved them all dearly was very proud of all of them. Loretta enjoyed her many family trips, skiing, camping, and road trips with Bob. She took great pride in her home and yard and they were always immaculate.
Loretta is survived by her husband: Robert; her mother: Neva Wermager; mother-in-law: Luverne Ross; children: Valerie (Randy) Korynta of Fisher, MN, Natalie (Bobby) Baird of Crookston, MN, Leah (Jade) Klein of Fisher, MN, and Justin (Sharon) Ross of East Grand Forks, MN; grandchildren: Ross and Kelli, Ryan and Megan, Kaia and Lucas, Colton, Carter and Quinn, Kaylie and Brock, Ty and Brady, Vincent and Owen, Steph and Lance; great-grandchildren: Kinley, Corban, Maddyn, Lincoln, River, and Maclin; brother: Wayne (Jeanette) Wermager of St. Paul, MN; sister: Pam DeLage of Crookston, MN; sisters-in-law: Jan Ross, Marilee (Corky) Hanson; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Loretta is preceded in death by her father, Truman; father-in-law: Harold Ross; brother: Jerry Wermager; brother-in-law: Ronnie DeLage; and a grandson: Austin Ross.
May God bless Loretta's memory. There will be a visitation from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in Crookston, MN. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. with a visitation one hour prior to service on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Crookston, MN. Interment will be at Oakdale Cemetery in Crookston, MN.
