Marjorie Holmes

Marjorie Ann Holmes, age 68, Winger, formerly Crookston, died Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. Marjorie Ann Noah was born on July 26, 1944 in Crookston, daughter of Gabriel (Gib) & Agnes (Hanson) Noah. She grew up and was educated in Crookston, graduating from Cathedral High School. She moved to Minneapolis, where she worked for a time and was united in marriage with David S. Clementson on February 8, 1964. She continued to live in Minneapolis and later moved to St. Cloud. She returned to Crookston in 1985 and some years later married Robert Holmes. Recently she moved to Winger. Marjorie enjoyed spending time with her family and helping others. She is survived by three children: Matthew (Lana) Clementson of Calabasas, CA, Lee Anne (Mitch) Walski of Crookston, and Mark Clementson of Simi Valley, CA; nine grandchildren: Isaac, Miriam, Elias, John-Paul, Magdalene, Nathan & Joseph Walski, Samantha & Roxanne Clementson; two siblings: Carol McKibben in Iowa and Jon (Caroline) Noah of Amery, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents: Gib & Agnes Noah; siblings: Betty Moran, Jim Noah, Doc (Doug) Noah & Vince Noah. The funeral service for Marjorie A. Holmes will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, February 8th at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Crookston, with The Rev. Robert Schreiner, presiding. Visitation will be for one hour before the service. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Crookston.
