Mark Garry

Mark Anthony Garry, 52, of Euclid, Minnesota, died unexpectedly at his home of natural causes on Tuesday September 4, 2012. Mark was born in Crookston, Minnesota on March 22, 1960, one of six children in the union of Terry and Dorothy Garry. While growing up in Euclid, he attended Central High School in Crookston. Mark followed in his father's footsteps and was employed by Garry Gravel until his early retirement in 1996. Up until his death, Mark would often be found in the summer months on his Husqvarna mowing the yards of his friends in the Euclid community. He was often seen riding his 4-wheeler and visiting with friends and neighbors and lending a helping hand when able. Mark enjoyed listening to the music of Johnny Cash as well as other memorable albums from the past. His true pride and joy were his grandchildren, Martin and Ashley, in which his refrigerator door was loaded with pictures of them. He took much pleasure in showing them off to everyone that visited. Mark's family and friends have been blessed by many memories. May God richly bless Mark's memory. Mark is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer Garry (Jesse Kaiser) of Park Rapids, MN and their two children, Martin and Ashley; sisters, Terryl Garry of Detroit Lakes, MN and Connie Lubinski of Euclid; brother, Chris Garry (Patty Belegarde) of Grand Forks, ND; nieces and nephews , Melissa Knutson of Fergus Falls, MN , Shannon Garry of Detroit Lakes, Chad (Brita) Lubinski of East Grand Forks, MN, Marc Lubinski of Los Angeles, CA, Carrie Bergquist of Crookston, and Raymond, Teri, and Trisha Belegarde, all of Grand Forks. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Terry Garry, on October 31, 1977; and Dorothy Garry, on May 23, 2011 and two brothers, Jeff Garry on December 1, 1971; and Douglas Garry on November 15, 1992. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Mark Anthony Garry will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, September 7, 2012, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Euclid, MN, with Father Emmanuel Sylvester, officiating. Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be held at Prairie View Cemetery in Euclid immediately following the funeral service.
