Michael Thomas Weiland, 59, of Euclid, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of January 30, 2024. Michael was born in Crookston, MN, on February 9, 1964, to parents Ralph and Helen (Kuhn) Weiland; Michael was one of seven children of that union.
Michael grew up in Euclid where he spent his childhood and young adolescent life until he moved to Sioux Falls, South Dakota in 1987 where he lived until 2009. While in South Dakota, Michael worked for John Morrells, and Midwest Rail in Brandon, SD. While in Sioux Falls, Michael married Teri Weiland, the two spent many happy years together, and from their union were blessed with the birth of their daughter, Chelsea Weiland. In 2009, Michael returned to Euclid to care for his father and began working for Schulz Farm.
Michael enjoyed many aspects of life and had a variety of hobbies such as four-wheeling, fishing, camping, bonfires, wood working, working on cars, and spending time with his family. Michael’s family will always remember the woodworking projects he did for his grandkids and their days deer hunting. Some of the other memories his grandkids will always have to cherish were four-wheeling through the mud, and pulling the grandkids on an old mattress through the snow.
While Michael may not physically be with us, he leaves behind a family that will never forget the love and times he shared with them.
May God bless the memory of Michael Thomas Weiland.
Michael is survived by his daughter, Chelsea (Jeremiah Porter) Weiland of Euclid, MN; Stepchildren: Dylan (Linda) Sippel of Colman, SD, Chris Sippel of Groton, SD, and Heather Sippel of Salem, New Hampshire; Grandchildren: Hattie, Adelia, Aidan, Tasia, Tyron, Tessa, Thea, and Tatianna; Brothers and Sisters: Ronnie (Vicky) Weiland of Stephen, MN, Diane (Bruce) Berscheit of Waite Park, MN, and Debbie (Russell) Jobe of Ashby, MN; Many nieces and nephews; and Former wife and close friend, Teri Weiland.
