Raymundo Zenteno

Raymundo Zenteno, 68, of Climax, MN, sadly passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 25, 2025. He was born, one of fourteen children, on April 15, 1956 in Las Delicias, Mexico, to loving parents, Manuel and Paulina (Barajas) Zenteno. 

Raymundo grew up in Mexico and attended school up until the third grade, after which he began learning from life. On April 27, 1977, in Los Ramones Nuevo Leon, Mexico, Raymundo married the love of his life, Maria Limon. To support his new family, Raymundo began driving truck as a young newlywed man and continued in that field when he and his family moved to Texas. Over the years, the couple gave birth to 5 children: Olga, Jose A., Jose M., Raymundo, and Elisa. After moving further north with his family to Climax, Minnesota, he worked as a farmhand for Spokely Brothers for about 30 years. 

Raymundo loved his family very much, spending time with his children and grandchildren was one of his favorite pastimes. They loved to go fishing and play cards and games together. Raymundo was the best at making pancakes and loved to grill for his family. Living his life to the fullest, Raymundo was a social butterfly, “Le gustaba vivir la vida”. 

Raymundo will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Raymundo is survived by his wife, Maria (Limon) Zenteno, children, Olga (Cuauhtémoc) Cabrera, Jose Alfredo (Maria) Zenteno, Jose Manuel (Wendy) Zenteno, Raymundo (Elvira) Zenteno, Elisa (Jose Faustino) Zenteno; grandchildren, Alexis, Elizabeth, Alfredo Jr., Raymundo III, Rene, Isaiah, Sylvia, Jasmin, Santos, Vanessa, Mateo, Abraham, Jonathan, Karin, Ziva, Sofia; Brothers and Sisters: Reyna, Baldo, Jorge, Fortino, Elida, Chano, Luz, and Reynaldo; As well as many other relatives and friends. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paulina and Manuel Zenteno; and siblings Maria, Manuel, Santos, Rosa, Jaime; as well as other relatives and friends.
