Robert "Bob" Clemenson

Robert William “Bob” Clemenson, age 63, of Crookston, MN, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021, at his home with his family by his side.

Bob was born on October 12, 1957, in Crookston, MN, the son of Oliver and Lorna (Rusert) Clemenson.  He was raised in Crookston, Baptized November 28, 1957 and Confirmed on May 7, 1972 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. Bob graduated from Crookston High School in 1976. Bob had a 30-year career with American Crystal Sugar and 15 years with SunOpta.  On November 18, 1994 he was united in marriage to Cindy Marie Jensen in Crookston, MN.

In his free time, he enjoyed being outdoors at the lake, fishing, and 4-wheeling, country music, and dancing.  Most of all he cherished time with his family and reunions in the Valley.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Cindy Clemenson of Crookston, MN; children, Nathan Jones of Brainard, MN, and Chris Jones of Crookston, MN; grandchildren, Michael and Nicole Horton and Alison Jones of Brainard, MN, Katelyn Jones of Crookston, MN, and Shawn, Brynlee, and Charly Hartsoch of West Fargo, ND; parents, Oliver and Lorna Clemenson of Crookston, MN; siblings and their spouses, Juliane and Greg Smith of St. Louis Park, MN, Carol and Tom Wernicki of Erie PA, Lonnie and Eileen Clemenson of Renville, MN, Donna Enghauser and Tom Heinecke of Minnetonka, MN, and Lola Radermacher of Alexandria, MN; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Milissa Jones Hartsoch; paternal grandparents, Oscar and Mary Clemenson; and maternal grandparents, William and Laura Rusert.
