Robert Raymond

Robert Wayne Raymond of Crookston passed away May 27, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Red Lake Falls, MN to Onezime and Helen (Perreault) Raymond. He graduated from Crookston High School and went to work for Harlen's Body Shop. He married Lynda Booren of Thief River Falls, MN. They had three children. Later Robert married Diane Morisette and opened up his own body shop called Bob's Custom Auto after working for Purolator Corp. for two years. His hobbies included car shows, traveling, cooking, and especially flower gardening. Robert is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Thomas Jay; and his stepfather, Carl Arvesen. He is survived by his wife Diane; daughter Kristine Raymond of Fairhope, AL; sons, Robert (Laurie) Raymond of East Grand Forks, James Bregier of Crookston, David (Michelle) Bregier of Detroit Lakes, MN; brothers, Steve (Carol) Raymond of Mankota, MN, Larry (Bonnie) Raymond of Fairfield Bay, AR; sister, Lucie (Paul) Clubb of Tampa, FL.; twelve grandchildren, Ashley, Josh, Jordan, Courtney, Austin, McKenna, Joe, Jesse, Jacob, Desiree, Danika, and Alex; and three great-grandchildren, Morgan, Tristan, and Alyssa. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Crookston, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Crookston, MN. The Stenshoel-Houske Funeral and Cremation Service are in charge of the arrangements.
