Sabrina Juarez (Rocha) Rosen, 46, of Crookston, MN, died peacefully Saturday morning, August 13, 2016, at the Villa St. Vincent in Crookston. Sabrina was born on February 9, 1970 at Crookston, the daughter of Juan and Felipa (Juarez) Rocha. She was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith, and attended several schools in Minnesota and Texas. On July 9, 2009 Sabrina was united in marriage to Margaret "Maggie" Solomon at Sioux City, IA. The couple lived in Houston, TX for a time before moving back to Crookston. Sabrina was very proud of the two special pets who were a big part of their family; a dog, Monkey DooDoo, and a cat, Billy. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends; road trips, especially to the Boundary Waters area of Minnesota; doing volunteer work; and lending an ear to anyone who needed someone to talk to. As she became ill a favorite pastime was making colored bows that represented all the different types of cancer. Sabrina is survived by her spouse, Margaret Solomon Rosen of Houston, TX; her mother, Felipa Rocha of Houston; siblings: Thomas (Esther) Inocencio of San Antonio, TX, Gloria Villanueva of Houston, Juan Rocha (Debbie Schehr) and Joe Rocha of Crookston, MN, Ricky Rocha of Waco, TX, Rosie Bouley of Princeton, MN, Sgt Major Peter Rocha of Wiesbaden, Germany, Thomas Rocha of Crookston, step-mother, Zelda Rocha of Crookston, and brother, Andrew Rocha, of Crookston; adoptive parents, Lyle and Deb Joseph of Carlin, NV, and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family. Sabrina was preceded in death by her father, Juan Rocha, and a nephew, Ricky Rocha. May God bless Sabrina's memory. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staffs of Villa St. Vincent and Hospice for the care given to Sabrina, and special thanks to Shannon Belange, Kari Harter, Darcy Paverud, and Britany Schehr for their care and compassion throughout these last months. Mass of Christian Burial for Sabrina Rosen will be held at 10:30am, Friday, August 19, 2016, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Crookston. Visitation will be at the Cathedral on Thursday from 5-7:00pm, with a 7:00pm prayer service, and also for one hour prior to the funeral. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Crookston.
