Susanne Gayton

Susanne Rae Gayton, age 47, of Crookston, MN passed away on February 1, 2019.

Susanne was born in Grand Forks, ND on August 24, 1971 to Edward and Anita (Yanez) Gayton. Growing up, she lived in Nielsville, MN, graduating from Climax High School in 1991. After graduating, she moved to Fargo, ND and lived there until she moved to Crookston, MN.

Susanne was a stay-at-home mom. She was a very kind and giving person who loved to laugh and smile. She was always happy to meet new people and to greet old friends.

Susanne is survived by her children: Nikki Gayton of Christine, ND,  Michael (Rosalinda) Mata of Crookston, MN, Samantha Bratvold of Crookston, MN; and Katie Jessica Marie; seven grandchildren; brother, Charles Yanez of Hope, ND; and sister, Lori Zaleski of Fargo, ND.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Louisa Yanez and mother, Anita Gayton. May God bless Susanne’s memory.

There will be a Memorial Service held at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation one hour prior to service on Friday, March 15, 2019 at Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in Crookston, MN. Interment will be held at a later date.
