Todd Anderson

Todd Aaron Anderson, age 42, of Grand Forks, ND, died unexpectedly at his residence late Friday afternoon, April 19, 2013, of natural causes. Todd was born in Fargo, ND on October 17, 1970, and was one of four children of the union of Warren T. and Eve Ann (Moore) Anderson. He grew up in Oakes, ND, where he attended elementary school, and graduated in 1990 from Oakes High School. After high school Todd was employed at Economy Oil in Oakes and became an excellent diesel mechanic. While taking a vacation in the Phillippines, he met a young lady by the name of Robilyn Toledo, and it was "love at first sight." He returned to Oakes and told his parents he had found someone he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Once all the necessary documents were completed so that Robilyn could move to the United States, she was able to join Todd in Oakes. The two were united in marriage on December 2, 1995 in Oakes, where they made their home. Soon daughter, Chelsea, was born, and shortly thereafter Robilyn went back to the Phillippines to bring her first daughter, Alyssa, back with her to join the family. Todd, Robilyn and the girls moved to Virginia Beach, VA for a time, later moving to Fargo, ND, where son, Aaron, was born. They came to Grand Forks several years ago. Todd spent as much time as possible with his family, and a favorite pastime was going fishing with Robilyn and Aaron. Last Friday he took Robilyn to work, said "I love you", and went home to work on his vehicle, which was something he loved to do. Later, and not feeling well, he went inside to rest and never woke up. It was a great shock to his family and friends and Todd will be remembered with great love by all who were able to share in his life. May God bless the memory of Todd Aaron Anderson. Todd is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Robilyn; 3 children: Alyssa of Fargo, ND, and Chelsea and Aaron of Grand Forks, ND; father, Warren Anderson of Grand Forks; brother, Ted (Wendi "Smiley") Anderson of Grand Forks; nieces and nephews: Sheena, Brandon, Carman, and Brandy; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roberto and Yolanda Toledo of Grand Forks; 2 brothers-in-law, Joseph (Donna) Toledo and Alberto (Theresa) Toledo, of Olongabo, Phillippines; 9 nieces and nephews living in the Phillippines; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. Todd was preceded in death by his mother, Eve Ann Anderson, who died on May 12, 2011; a sister, Shawna Raye Anderson, who died on February 15, 1974; a sister, Kimberly Ann Anderson Boomgarden, who died on August 31, 2007; and his grandparents. A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Todd Aaron Anderson will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 29, 2013, at the Stenshoel-Houske Funeral Home in Crookston, MN with Pastor Charles Johnson, officiating. Visitation with the family will be for one hour prior to the service.
